As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Merry Xmas!! Dh gave me the best gift!!
Dh was supposed to drive to his families house yesterday (4-5 hours away).
We decided not to exchange gifts this year due to my medical bills, but he totally surprised me yesterday. He called his family and said he was not coming and stayed home with me!!! So it was a good christmas gift.
He made me french toast this morning and is cooking ham and potatoes and veggies for dinner.
I'm so happy! I didn't have to spend xmas alone!
I sort of feel bad though. I told him even though i was bummed and hurt at first that he should still go with out me. I was trying not to be selfish. I know i'm sick... but his mom is in very bad shape. If you remember earlier this year that she was in critical condition in ICU twice. We just dont know how much longer she's going to be around. So I was trying to be ok with him going to visit his parents.... but it turned out that he decided to stay after all. He made that decision all on his own, because I didn't ask him to stay. He said he wanted to be here in case I needed him since i'm still feeling crappy.
Thanks for all your well wishes!!! I'm in good spirits today. 
I should have my tests results back monday. I'll let you know how i made out.

I'm so glad that everything worked out and you had a wonderful Christmas with DH! Now I'm praying for those test results on Monday.
Can I ask what the specific problem is? Just curious since I'm in the medical field and I'm always interested. But you don't have to share if you don't feel comfortable.
