What do you normally do? I'm sure DH and I will be in bed (our anniversary is 1/1), even if we do stay up, we'll just hang on the computer. We don't really care to see the ball drop, I know some people love it though.
Re: NYE - Will you stay up?
Since i've been dating / Married we've always stayed in at New Years playing board games with friends and/or family members. We're typically in bed by 12:30 or 1:00. hehe...
This year, we're trying something different, going downtown to the first night saint louis or whatever it's called.
This year we are going out for an early dinner and then home to watch the ball drop. We've had people over the last few years and last year did not go well. Several of DH's friends were going to spend the night so that they didn't drink and drive. They just wouldn't settle down and go to sleep. I think they finally gave up around 6 a.m. I was NOT a happy camper. Here's a tip ~ when the host of the party is going to bed that's your clue to go to bed too. I mean come on these aren't young guys they are all in their mid 40's and should grow up!
Rant over...
