How was everyone's Christmas???
I am still visiting family in Dothan but am needing something to do right now while DH plays Mario Kart. "We" got it for Christmas...I am really bad at it so I don't really like it..I guess I need to play it and get better...anyway, how was everyone's Christmas??? I am missing talking to you all! We had a BIG Christmas day and DS LOVED his Santa toys...he got a little 4-wheeler type power wheel that DH thought he just had to have and it was SOOO funny watching him ride it...we then drove 2 hours...had Christmas at DH's grandmother's house, then with DH's parents, then with my parents and grandmother...the next day we exchanged gifts with my mom's family and went out for margaritas and mexican food. I think that should be a new tradition...

Mine was ok. I got a peacoat, a $25 gift card to cracker barrel, and $100 from my mom. I enjoyed having 5 days off work (I got to go back tomorrow, yuck) and spending time with my family.
My Christmas was really good. I got a sewing machine and accessories from my MIL and I got a digital picture frame, some clothes, some stuff for my house, and some giftcards from my parents. DH got a GPS system from his parents and it gets to stay in my car lol since my car is the one we take when we go somewhere.
And I was so excited because my 3 year old niece was so excited over the felt board and stories I made her! I worked my tail off on that gift so I am really happy she liked it!
I'm glad things are getting back to normal though. I have one more week off and I am in cleaning/organizing mode. There is a to do list a mile long on my fridge.
I had a great Christmas, except for the fact that I was sick with no voice for three straight days. That makes it hard when you are in a room full of people and everyone is talking loudly!
DH and I both bought each other iPods, and we didn't even know. So we had a good laugh when opening our presents.
I hope everyones Christmas was wonderful! And I am so glad the board has started picking up again. I've missed chatting with you ladies!

We spent most of our time with family. Christmas Eve with my folks, hanging out and doing our traditional holiday baking and exchanging gifts; Christmas Day with the IL's hanging out and getting ready for Christmas Dinner. They have a couple of families over they're close with every year that are "homeless" (translation: no family in town), and that's always a lot of fun.
My big gift from DH was a wine chiller that holds 18 bottles!
I also got from dh and family wii stuff, vera bradley stuff, a cooking light subscription, some new perfume... my favorite thing I got from my mom is this nativity scene from the Holy Land that was carved out of olive wood
I had a great Christmas. I had to work Christmas day so that wasn't fun but everything else was wonderful. My mom made me a quilt out of all of my old auburn t-shirts. I loved it. It is my favorite thing I got. I also got a pair of boots and a bunch of little gifts. DH and I bought a tv last month so we didn't do presents just gave each other a stocking- he put bubble bath and body butter in mine and told me to treat myself to a bath when I got off work Christmas day! So sweet. But I am glad that things are slowing down a bit. I am glad to hear everyone had such a lovely holiday

And me too...I have SOOOOO many things I want to do before going back to work. Now, just for some motivation...maybe I need to make a list.
