Rocky Hill Info

Hi all,

DH are hoping to buy a house come early spring and we are trying to nail down a few towns that we'd like to target when we start looking.  We like Glastonbury and the Simsbury/Granby area.  I've been to Rocky Hill but don't know much about it.  Does anyone have any info, especially about their school systems?  Any other towns in that area that you recommend?  Thanks!

Re: Rocky Hill Info

  • Rocky Hill is a great area. I am in Middletown which kind of borders it.  I love it here.  You still get the counrty living but not far from the city.
  • Rocky Hill is a great town but I'm not sure about the schools.  You can google their town website online and it'll probably have a lot of info for you.  I used to live in Wethersfield near the Rocky Hill border and it's a nice area and very convenient location wise.  You could also look at Cromwell, Old Wethersfield, Wethersfield which are right in the area.  Cromwell is a bit further away but the lots of land are bigger.  The best research is to just go out one Saturday and get lost driving the neighborhoods you're interested in...you'll get the lay of the land and see what the town is like visibly.
