Anyone use 1800 Pet Meds?

My dog is ready for a refill on her heart worm preventative and my husband wants to use 1800pet meds but i dont see the brand we have gotten from our vet...anyone buy products from there?  How is it?  Are the brands all that different?

I've always bought our stuff from them. But only because they have the products I already want to use. If you don't see your current brand and you don't want to switch, continue to go through your vet.

My sister reminds me constantly that pet drug manufacturers won't guarantee their products unless sold straight from a vet practice. I've never experienced a problem with med quality or being sent expired meds. I trust that they store the products safely. But if my dog were to get hw, I know I'd have no recourse with the drug manufacturer.

Also, 800 Pet Meds will contact your vet to verify any meds requiring a Rx, ie heartworm preventive. Your vet office may contact you to be sure your dog is up-to-date on heartworm prevention and annual checkup before they'll confirm the fulfillment.

I use Drs. Foster and Smith for HW and flea meds. They will contact the vet for you to get the prescription.
