Best and worst present
I saw on the "hot topics" that the New Jersey nesties were comparing the worst gifts they got. I know they say that it's the thought that counts, but what was the best and worst gift you got this year?

I got quite a few nice gifts...a swarovki (sp?) crystal bracelet, satin Victoria's Secret pajamas, a Victoria's secret gift card, a handmade scarf to go with one of my jackets, a card game, and a handmade wreath from my gramma. They were all great, but if I had to choose, I would pick the wreath because I know it wasn't easy for my Gramma to make, but she did it out of love, and it was so nice to have that reminder of her hanging on our door.
My worst gift...my poor mother has a hard time shopping for me, so I usually get some nice things from her but also some strange things. I'm really glad she wasn't there to see me open her strange gift this year. It's some sort of jewelry beading kit. There's black hemp type string and purple beads and I'm sure it's very nice for someone who would wear that, but it's not my style at all. Robert and I just kind of stared at it when I opened it and then started laughing.
Anyone interested in some jewelry?
My MIL for some reason thinks that H and I are 12 years old. I got this corny dolphin candle with jems on it and this picture of H and I that is at least 11 years old...it has got to be one of the worst pictures of us ever. Every year I end up giving one her gifts in our annual girls white elephant exchange.
Best.....watching my baby "open" presents.
Worst.....I asked for some tupperware. I got some new pieces, but my mom also sent me some of her used stuff.......from when I was little. This would have been ok, except that the lid of one piece had gunk from years of use in the rim of the lid.
Best... Rocketdog boots and pea coat and remote start for my car... all from DH.
Worst... Do-it-yourself nail kit in a family grab bag. Seriously, I brought a fifth of tequila rose with cute shot glasses and I got a damn nail kit. Of course the girl who brought it didn't fess up. Must have been a re-gift for sure. I gave it to DH's mom because she looked interested in it. I was half-tempted to save it for next year's exchange and re-gift it.
