I was having a conversation this past weekend about anniversary presents. My sister mentioned that there are traditional gifts for each year. I had never heard of this but we thought it was kind of cool. DH and I decided we are going to try to stick to this for each anniversary. Since year one is paper, I got a groupon for a couple's massage. I'll get him something for just him too, but I don't know what yet. I think this will be fun and it will add a challenge to see who better fit the tradition. Anyone else heard of this or is doing it? Link below for what each year is.

Re: Wedding anniversaries by year.
We are planning on doing this also. I'm still trying to think of something for paper. I thought about tickets to a concert.
I can't frame our vows because we used standard vows, we didn't write our own. For tickets, we'd have to go to a sporting event since H doesn't really go to concerts unless it's for me. The Mets definitely aren't making it to the playoffs, so we wouldn't be able to see them in October. H is a big Jets fan, but it could be cold for football (for me, not H). Hmmm
