Hi all!
DH and I foster (bunnies) and I am having a problem and was wondering if anyone else was like this.
After a few days of a bunny being in our home, I decide that I want to be a failure and keep it. DH and I talk about it and he agrees. Then, when I get notification that someone might want to adopt him/her, I discuss it with DH and tell him that I think it's for the best that s/he go so we can help another bun.
I really don't know why I keep doing this - it's happened with 3 different buns in the past 4 months. I think that I am being unfair to DH but I am so certain in the beginning that I want to keep the bun.
Anyone else do this?
~Bonnie
Re: Fostering Question
That's how I look at it, at least. I might love the dog and want to keep him/her forever, but they are going to a good home and that opens up my home so another dog can be rescued.
