How much birth control pills influence sex drive and desire varies tremendously from woman to woman. Some see absolutely no effect, and others experience strong side effects that completely ambush their desire for sex. Go to your healthcare provider and discuss trying another type of pill. You may find a brand or combination that doesn’t make your libido lag.
In the meantime, let your husband know that you’re concerned about what the pill has been doing to your desire. You don’t want to keep him in the dark about this. Men (and women!) often blame themselves for their partners being turned off sex when there may be another cause -- as in your case, the pill.

so i found this article on thenest, and kinda just wanted other peoples out look on it. im the total opposite to what this says, being that BC lowers sex drive, for me when i was on it i wanted sex literally ALL THE TIME, everyday, multiple times a day, anyways, when me and the honey moved into our own place i ran out of my prescription, and we just didnt get around to making another doctor appointment and such and so i havent been on it since about March, and my sex drive is just so far gone, that i long for the week of my period so i dont have to get asked for sex. like im active and want to do other things, but sex isnt on the top of my to do list, when it used to be the first thing up there, and 2nd and 3rd. so anyone else the same way?
Also if you wouldnt mind sharing the type of BC you're on, or were on, what you liked and didnt. ive always used the pill, i think the generic for Yazz but not sure about that one, im not the biggest fan of it though.
