How much would you pay?

I am posting this here because the MM boards are dead and wanted some feedback.

Someone I talk to on the net sent me two cd's and a couple of concerts via a site called wetransfer. A couple of things I could ot get to work on my end. This person initiated sending me everything without me asking. After he sent me a few things I of thanked him of course then started thinking maybe I should throw him some money for his kindness. When I asked him if I could pay him something he said "if you want to give me a small donation you can.

So, how much would you give? or WWYD?

So this guy sent you some mp3s and a video file via the internet? I wouldn't give them any money. Sharing files over the net is easy and free, but also can be illegal. 

Are they suddenly sending you stuff you didn't ask for in hopes of getting money? This situation sounds shady. Pass.

I ended up sending him $10.00 because I didn't know what to do and wanted to thank him. I told him not to send me anything else. I had trouble with a couple of the files anyway.
