Non-clicky Poll: Food at Wedding Reception
Just out of curiosity and to get some life back into this board:
1) What kind of food/drinks did you have for your wedding/reception?
2) Did you pick the menu alone or did DH/other help?
3) Did anything get screwed up?
4) Would you change anything about the food/drinks?

Re: Non-clicky Poll: Food at Wedding Reception
We had a seated dinner. Our salad had cranberries, some kind of nut and candied oranges. Then we had a tartlet with zucchini & goat cheese. And our main course was either BBQ Thai salmon, chicken stuffed with apples & andouille both served with roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus or a veggie pasta dish.
Our wedding cake had two flavors: chocolate with cookies & cream filling or vanilla with fresh raspberry filling.
2) Did you pick the menu alone or did DH/other help? H & I picked the menu and then our parents joined us at the tasting. He had a good amount of input, the Bloody Smurf & shrimp cocktail were all him.
3) Did anything get screwed up? We had two gluten-free cupcakes made for guests with allergies and H's little cousin accidentally got one, she thought it was weird that her cupcake had rice in it!
4) Would you change anything about the food/drinks?Nope! Everything was really good and we were very mindful about accommodating guests with dietary restrictions. The staff was also great about making sure we ate, which was awesome because I was STARVING!!
2) Did you pick the menu alone or did DH/other help? -- The menu was set by the family reunion planners; the only thing we contributed was a King Cake for our "wedding cake"
