Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays.

Monday. blagh.
I'm so tired. I don't know why. I didn't get up any earlier than usual this weekend. It's going to be hell getting up for classes next week. I've been waking up every day this past week early so that my body can get used to it, but it's apparently not helping.

How was everyone's weekend?
Saturday at work I watched some awesome movies. Willie Wonka, The Chronicle's of Narnia (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe). Sunday there was nothing good on. I watched some Golden Girls, a Hallmark movie, and then WallE. My client never got out of bed Sunday until 3:00. It was a bad morning.
Today I'm training my replacement at work. Kind of funny. She seems like she'll work out well. She's with me today, tomorrow, and Wednesday. Wednesday I'm going to let her run things, and just be there in the background.

  • Happy Monday!

I'm back at it with my daycare girlie today. She came at 7:20 and obviously ds slept till 915. He doesn't do this on weekends and he probably won't do it on the days she doesn't come till 9...punk! We have a pretty low key day planned. Going to get outside once we finish snack and then prep and eat lunch and nap time!!
  • good morning!

This weekend was busy but good. I got to see my BFF which is always awesome :)  Her H was in a car race in the southern part of VA so we drove down to see her.  The whole set up was quite impressive and we had a suprising good time watching the race.  THEN we ate at Chuys and bought some Blue Bell ice cream to bring home neither of which we have here.  yummmm.

I am so tired today I don't want to have to go into work. Blah.

  • Echo - That's so funny about Charlie sleeping in on days you had to be up early anyhow! Silly little guy! I'm going to come up for nap time, it sounds wonderful.  ;)

Aggie - YAY for getting to see your BFF!  That's always awesome.

I'm thinking of going to see my BFF sometime soon. I haven't seen her in over a year, and that's just unacceptable. Plus, I've never seen their place in VA. I have a fall break in October that I'm going to try to use to go see her.

Also, I just saw the Google doodle for today and it's totally awesome!!!

  • I wish I had a bff! Since moving away for university and then again when I met dh I haven't really made any super awesome friends and I have lost touch with all others. My friends where I am now I would consider good friends. My BFF who is here and was in my wedding party sort of avoided me for a bit when she got back with her bf (now fiancé) because I was pissed it happened. He was a huge jerk to her. We're slowly becoming close again which is nice. I also suck at making friends so that doesn't help.
  • My 2 best friends are friends I made in middle school. We were inseparable through middle school. The one I was closer to at the time stayed in touch throughout HS and ended up at the same college. The other I sort of lost touch with until my Jr of college we are all really close again even though we live in 3 separate cities (and me in a whole different state!). My college friends I rarely talk to and see even less, and I don't have anyone here I am super close with. It's funny how all that works.

  • My best friend lives in Virginia. We were college roommates my junior and senior year We chat on facebook a lot, and text each other constantly. All my other friends from college I hardly talk to anymore. I have one good friend from high school who I still talk with a lot and I try to see her often, but she has a baby now and doesn't seem to have as much time for me, which sucks. We were really close, then had a falling out when she got together with her now H (I never liked him) but we've grown semi-close again. She lives almost 3 hours away from me.
I have no friends here. Well, one, but he's really DH's friend and now he's mine too by default.
I also suck at making friends! I tried to become good friends with one girl from work, but she never wants to hang out when I ask her. Boo.

  • ::waves::

One of my best friends from college came over for dinner on Saturday night with her husband.  The four of us all graduated college together but were from different crowds, but it's so nice to get together.  We had a great time.  We drank too much.  Way too much.  Excellent.

Yesterday was Jay's birthday - we did nothing and he loved every minute of it.

My other great friend from college is having a baby in two weeks!  Her due date is my birthday and I'm SO EXCITED for her.

  • Good afternoon. I had a good weekend. H and I ran some errands on Sat. which involved going to the mall, craft store, grocey store and looking at blinds for the great room. It was a good day! Sunday more chores around the house and I made dinner. I feel like I haven't made dinner in forever so it was nice. Glad everyone had a great weekend! JLQ: Love this movie!

I have a few good friends. The two non-family members in my wedding. One is a friend from HS and one from college. We don't talk all that often and livei different states but I know if I needed them they would be there. I also have a another friend from HS that I would consider a great friend. We went to Vegas together and I am going to see her in Sept. What I love most about my girlfriends from HS is that we still get together once a year around Christmas and it is like nothing changed. That and they made my friend from college like one of the family. It is so nice! I don't have any close friends in ROC. It is tough making friends outside of work. At least it is for me. Plus I have all you girls! God knows you know more about me than most people. HAHA!

  • :::: waves to everyone while I drive by :::::

This work schedule is killing me.  But I'm sick of complaining about work so I'll move along.

    jlq - hi!

Echo - don't feel bad about the no friends thing.  I don't have any people I would call close friends here in Michigan (I really need to work on that.)  My BFF lives in Florida and my other BFF lives in Seattle.  So yeah, it's a no friends zone pretty much.

Aggie - glad you had a fun weekend!

Joy - Happy belated birthday Jay (or Mr. Joy)!!  Sounds like you had a fun weekend and hopefully you weren't too hungover on Sunday!

degrea - sounds like a nice weekend :)  Do you have any craft projects in mind that you needed at the store or just stocking up on supplies?

I shortened your quote ... and Yes!! All you girls are definitely my friends! Sometimes I tell you all things that I don't tell my IRL bestie. I'd be awful lonely without you all!
