  • :-?

I have no idea what I want to accomplish this week.
Does getting to the weekend count?

  • What do you want to accomplish this week? I want to get at least one more round of revisions done on my MS this week. I have reader comments coming in tonight, so hopefully I'll have some clear direction on what to do first. I also want to finish reading a friend's MS and giving comments on it. And lastly, I want to get back on my healthy eating kick because I've been eating my feelings for the past two weeks and it's starting to show.

How are you going to go about doing that? I'm bringing my lap top with me every day to work so I can work through lunch, and working after Liam goes to bed. And I brought lunch today. Grapes instead of chips - progress, people.

  • I just want to deep-clean our apartment and get our new patio stuff put together before the new semester begins.

In order to do that, I'm going to get overly organized (read: annoying to H) by making a list of what needs to be done and then I'll ignore it until the last minute and it'll never get done.

Ideally, I'd get off my butt this weekend and do it.

I also want to read at least two books, which will get done because I'll neglect the cleaning lol.

  • What I want to accomplish:

    1) Finish my resume
    2) Can some pickles, hopefully tonight
    3) Stick to my points

    How?

    1) I really want J to submit his resume to his dream job that he's terrified to apply to so I told him I'd update mine as well.  Since it's mostly for him, that's motivation enough.
    2) Get everything prepped and washed before Wes goes to bed so I have plenty of time tonight to do it.
    3) Tracking my points daily.  Not beat myself up about any slip ups.

  • I want to get my house clean and groceries bought before I go back to work tomorrow. I am going to have to get off my ass to get it done. I also need to get my classroom put back together, and to do that I am going to skip going out to lunch three out of the next four days. Finally, I want to run five days this week, an that also involves getting off my ass.

  • This week is a pretty big week.  I need to finish painting the kitchen so we can get all the cabinets into place.  The stove is being hooked up on Friday (gas, I'm so excited!).  This coming weekend we leave for our in-law family vacation, so I need to do some super organizing and cleaning so I'm not embarrassed when my parents come to take care of the cats.  It's a lot of cleaning in my future since all the kitchen stuff has been sitting in my living room for two weeks while we tackled the kitchen.  So much organizing...
I also need to do a bunch of vacation baking on Friday when we get the stove back. Two weeks of crockpot and grilled meals..I'm so looking forward to Friday.
I guess I'll tackle it by getting off my computer and doing it!  Easier said than done..

  • What do I want to accomplish?
Clean and unpack (we've only lived here for a year) as much as I can this week before school starts next Monday. That also includes cleaning/organizing my H and I's (yes we share) office at school. It brings a whole new meaning of closeness when you share a space big enough for 3 desks and 2 filing cabinets with your SO. Luckily I'm only really "in" the office for 30min-1 hour/day to eat lunch. More than that if I'm procrastinating :p Okay back on track...so I also want to finish learning my upcoming recital repertoire and memorize as much of it as possible. I also need to spend some serious time on my home business this week to get it all organized so I have less to do with it over the next few months. Lastly I need to run probably 5 days this week, go horseback riding at least 2x, read a book and try and relax a little!

How? Work as hard as I can each day but let myself just chill after about 8pm or so each night. H and I are taking probably a half day trip on Thursday just to relax as well :)
  • I want to accomplish...
    - yoga every other day
    - walk for at least a half hour every other day
    - pick up a book and read...
    - scrub the kitchen floor

    How??
    - get off my ass
    - get off my ass and pull DH up with me
    - stay on my ass and pick that book up!  I could also get DH to set the treadmill back up and I could read AND walk.  Hmmm....
    - get off my ass...and get some sort of mask or something because I doubt the chemicals would be good for me to breathe in right now.

  • Want to Accomplish:

Getting the princess off to 5th grade tomorrow without losing my shizz.
    Organizing my new bookshelf
Cleaning and organizing my bathroom space. It's like Mac and Sally Hansen exploded in there right now.
Writing the last 1/3 of my book

    How?
Staying focused on tackling one thing at a time.
    Writing for 2 hours everyday

  • Want to accomplish: Going for a few runs. I'm signed up for the color run at the end of the month and haven't been doing anything.

How? I've already got my gym bag packed and in the car, so there's no excuse not to go after work.

@SnShne322 - I am planning on signing up for Weight Watchers tomorrow.  Would you mind telling me a little of your experience on the plan?
  • Finally fold laundry, going to go home today and just put on a BBC TV show and tackle it.
Also I need to figure out my college semester this week - buy books and pay for my classes!

  • Things I want to do this week:

    1. Organize the closet
    2. Organize the office
    3. Workout every day

    How I will do them:

    1. I broke the closet out into areas on my to do list so I can tackle one at a time and not get too overwhelmed by trying to do the whole thing at once.
    2. Same thing with the office, tiny spaces with one flagged for each night this week so I can feel like I'm making progress.
    3. I've added it to my to-do list for the week with a different workout set for each day. Plus we're back into daily walks with the dogs, which always helps.

  • My goals for the day (I'm not up to thinking about the entire week quite yet) are pretty minimal:

    1) Stay awake
    2) Order groceries online

Yup. that's it. I went to a concert on Friday, and another last night, and I am beat.

    How:

Have my coworker read me random passages from 50SoG? Ragey = awake.
    Mainline coffee.

  • What do you want to accomplish this week? Since my 5:00 am runs aren't able to happen anymore because of the dark, I want to join a gym so I can at least run on a treadmill at 5:00 am and still have time to get to work.  I run better in the mornings than I do after work.
How are you going to go about doing that? I just sent off an email to the guy that owns the gym that I used to belong to.  I am supposed to meet with him at some point this week to sign the paper work.

-go for a walk at least 5 of the next 7 days
    - get DD's room put back together
    -read

How am I going to go about doing that?
-I would prefer to walk alone but I am going to have to suck it up and take DD. Or get DH to set my treadmill up so I can walk while she naps (thanks to @JennaHack for the idea!)
-do 1 thing in DDs room each day rather than try to do it all at once
-quit watching so much crap tv and read!

Is that the right term? Maybe it's pickling cucumbers? I'm not sure.  It's my first time doing it, but I've canned a few times so we'll see!
