How do you guys clean the different floors in your home, what do you use and how often?

I am still trying to find a cleaner I like for our laminate floors and the laminate hardwood. I am trying pine Sol this week.

I try to sweep and mop once a week. Every other week I scrub on my hands and knees. I vacuum once a week but I should do it more but Ava Nichol is scared of the vacuum and Ifeel bad! The ffloors were steam cleaned when we moved in March and we haven't had them done again.

I use the Bissell steam cleaner. It works great!

@Madeline10l We totally ruined some laminate in a house we used to rent becauseit got wet and we didn't know until too late! Needless to ssay, we didn't get our deposit back!

@sushilover0214 my mom has one of those and when we lived there I used it all the time! I loved it and I have a sneaking suspicion that I might get one for Christmas!

I recently bought my mom one of the shark steam mops but otherwise she always used vinegar water on her hardwood floors and then she has a carpet cleaner that she uses for the carpets.  She only does the carpets once or twice a year aside from sweeping them.  The kitchen/bathroom I believe gets mopped once a month or every other month.  I don't remember.  We just sweep our floors.  What hardwood we do have is crappy and can't be mopped (It's just a rough stain, not a smooth surface) easily.  I think we're going to re-carpet the whole downstairs since R is starting to crawl now.
