What are you reading?

The book club seems to have crapped out. What's everyone reading these days?

I took that list from Buzzfeed of 14 books to read before they become movies and went off of that.

If I Stay and it's sequel Where She Went. I loved both of these books and read them in 3 days. Highly recommend.

I listened to Inferno by Dan Brown. It was "meh" IMO.

I am currently listening to Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling. I like it so far but don't love it.

I've taken out Serena by Ron Rash from the library but I lost the book!! I'm frantically searching for it. I think my kid may have deposited it in a black hole somewhere.

Re: What are you reading?

  • Man Up by Ross Mathews. If I didn't have two kids I would have read it in 3 days.

  • Don't get too excited, but I am actually reading a book. "you are your child's first teacher". My first parenting book I've read cover to cover, well, I still have a few pages left.

  • Just finished Divergent. Second hold for Insurgent at my library. I'm a sucker for teen fiction.

  • Annnnnd I'm still "reading" And the Mountains Echoed.  Meaning it's still on my kindle.  I just really prefer to play candy crush before bed these days.

This just became available to me from the library!  I'll be picking it up tomorrow.  Next up after that, I'm pushing everything aside and rereading HP.
  • The Philadelphia Nesties Board. I really need to get back into the reading swing!

Jessica, I read it, it doesn't get better. As I've told people, J.K. still writes it a way that makes you feel like you're there, only this time I had no desire to be there. I started the Cuckoo's Calling, it seems much more captivating.

Her story telling for this book almost reminds me of Maeve Binchy in that all the different stories intersect, but MB's books are so charming to me.
