  • We have 2 shamrock plants from St. Patrick's Day (a green one and a purple one). Our cats nearly killed them both, but now they are doing very well. I'm surprised that I haven't killed them yet.

  • Nothing in the house.  I'd like to get something small for the windowsill in my kitchen though.
  • We have a plumeria and a leafy, viney plant that won't stop growing.  I have killed every other plant that we have had.

  • Yes, this ugly spider plant.  My mom had it in the 90's and it nearly died and my aunt was able to revive it.  When my aunt passed away she made my mom swear she would keep it alive or else my aunt was going to 'haunt' her, ha!  Well, it eventually sprouted off a baby and my mom gave it to me and told me the same thing....I had to keep it alive or else my aunt was going to haunt me for it.  my family is silly.

  • I have a cactus and a basil plant.
  • I have the un-killable house plant, the mother-in-law tongue click here to check it out! A friend of ours is a plant whisperer and gave us the MIL tongue as a wedding gift. She gave me one about 4 years ago too with the challenge of killing it. Oh, I killed it, but it took me over 3 years to do it!

I also have a bamboo plant that I had bought for H for our dating anniversary that somehow made its way back from his office to our house. It started out with 7 stalks and I think it is down to 5 now, so not a complete fail.

  • No, I have an incredibly black thumb.  Plants die as soon as they hear they will be going into my care.  I wish plants would live with me, the window sills in my kitchen are deep and so cute with a plant in them!
