Still loving my May 2012 ladies

So I have ventured out to the April 2014 babies board and after a TON of drama today about what people should and shouldn't be allowed to post.....second time parents complaining about first time moms having too many questions about symptoms (isn't that the point of a pregnancy board?) I remember why I LOVE you ladies...NEVER have I felt attacked here, never felt like a stupid question was something that was going to get me looked down on for, never had to second guess something before I posted...It kind of reminded me today about all the drama that was on the "generalized wedding boards"....Just wanted to say thanks for being truly awesome supportive women.

Its sad that when people are on the internet, they feel they can tear people down. And so often they forget what it was like to be in your shoes. They also feel like they know everything and you're dumb and ignorant if you don't. I had thought the point behind these boards was to support each other and get advice and another perspective. Not everyone feels that way. I'm glad a number of us hung around to continue that actual support we've given each other. This is a great board to be on!

Thats horrible how some people can just be plain rude. As a new mommy to be you have tons of questions and need to feel the love and should feel free to post any questions you have, and not get a ton of drama from other boards. When I look at other boards I am just as thankful to have a board that has a ton of supportive ladies . I have to agree that this board is totally AWESOME

I actually posted on TB several times and I do still post there on my Oct 13 board or the high risk board. However I don't respond to a lot of stuff and I'm very cautious about what I post. I'm much more comfortable here and always have been.

You can always ask your baby questions here. Even though we aren't going through it the exact same time as you it seems a lot of us are having babies! Sorry you had a bad experience there but at least you have us!!

I know exactly what you mean! I'm on the March 2014 moms board on The Bump. And sometimes I cant even stomach the pointless bullying there is. And then when First Time Moms get called out and made to look 'stupid' just because this is our first kid we don't have the 'experience'. Its sickening. I mostly just lurk. And I would never stray from you girls! Thank you for being so awesome the last two and half years! LOL
