2nd Aniversay Gifts

This came up on our FB page and I thought it would be a good topic here too. Traditional gift is cotton and modern is china.

What are you getting your H? Are you asking for anything?

Not sure if we will do much..  we are going to Nashville, TN in October.  And we are remodeling the bathroom.  That may be our gifts to each other.   Oh, plus spending lots of money with our RE.   Happy Anniversary to us!

My parents are giving us money towards new bikes so I think we'll probably just be doing that. We'll also be looking into a baby carrier/seat thing for the bikes so we can take him with us.

Jurbs I have fond memories of riding on the back of my moms bike when I was little. Not many but I do remember. I think that's a great gift your parents are giving you.

We aren't doing anything super special this year. So I'd like to get DH a little something.

We'll go out to dinner, but I doubt we'll exchange gifts.  We just bought ourselves a house and we'll be buying way too many diapers at that time, so gift wise I think we might skip it this year.

@ky29 we're doing pretty good. Finally getting into a little bit of a routine (as much as a newborn has a routine) and Michael is sleeping 3-4 hours at night which is awesome.

We probably won't exchange anything except cards this year since we're doing something for the weekend of our anniversary. We did the same thing last year. I suppose eventually in anniversaries to come we'll exchange actual presents.

We probably won't do gifts. We were talking about it last night and are looking into a two night New Orleans trip. Money is pretty tight so a gift on top of that wouldn't make sense. We didn't do them last year either.

We'll only be about a month in our house by then so I doubt we'll do much. I'd love to do a night at the beach but I don't know if that will happen.
