Holiday plans tiny rant about TN

I was trying to find idea for my husband's first Rosh Hashanah to make it special for him. I went to the holidays part it says "Holiday ideas for every holiday" and then only lists Christian and American holidays. If you going to say every holiday you should include other holidays Nest! Anyway does anyone know of any good blogs or sites with info on how to make the High Holidays special for someone celebrating it for the first time?

Re: Holiday plans tiny rant about TN

  • Hi!  Welcome.  Haven't been on TN  in a while... for different reasons.   Just read your post and quickly looked on Martha Stewart's website.  She has several posts re: Rosh Hashanah.  (Though I don't celebrate the holiday I live in NYC and worked in catering business inc. Kosher for several years... my fave is Kugel).  I'm sure whatever you do will be extra special for your husband and he will appreciate your efforts.  You can also do your tried and true recipes for him which will be new to him and sure to impress. I'm sure you'll find some blogs with cute Apples and Honey ideas too.    Have fun and Happy New Year!
  • The Nest doesn't create the thread topics within the Holiday board.  That's users who have created those threads. You could post a thread about Rosh Hashana, and perhaps that would get the ball rolling.
