My surgery is scheduled for next Thursday, the 29th and my pre op is on Monday.  I'm still super excited, but I'm getting a little scared.  Last time I had a surgery, I freaked out a little when the anesthesiologist came in because the idea of being put under scares me.  I hope they let H be there to hold my hand through it.

My mom and H decided to throw a "farewell" party for my boobs!  So we'll be doing that on Sunday now and my mom said she's going to make a funny boob cake.

And because I know I'd want to see, I'll be sure to post before and after pics (with clothing of course :P) I'm an H right now and I'm hoping I can get down to a C. Man, what a difference it's going to be!

  • That's so exciting!

As someone who is barely a B, I'm still envious that a) you need a surgery to reduce your bust cuz I got gipped in that department and b) you'll still have boobs.

  • So happy for you! Enjoy your farewell boobie party on Sunday. I will keep you in my thoughts on Thursday.

I'm in snuff's boat, an average b cup. I wish you could share your blessings when you were finished!
  • I'm super curious about before and after photos!!  I'm also curious how much weight that is!!!

I love that your mom is making you a boob cake, you may have to post some pictures of that too..

  • I think you'll win the weightloss wednesday after you're done ;)

I'm excited for you!! I'll be keeping you in my T&P. You'll do wonderfully! I'm also excited to see the b&a pics. Enjoy your party!!

  • OMG I DREAM about having a C cup, lol!  I am a DD but I'm also 5'0"...it's hard for people to understand what a pain it can be (sometimes literally) lugging a couple of watermelons around all the time.  It's not like a cute accessory you can take on and off at will!  Very very happy for you!

I'm 5'0" too, so I know exactly what you are going through!  The pain in my back and my shoulders has become such a limiting issue and that's why I decided to move forward with getting the surgery.  If you have insurance, I'd highly recommend looking into getting this done because the pain will just get worse as time goes on.  Three years ago, I felt fine but over the last two years it's just gotten so bad.

I think I vaguely remember talking about this in the Knot thread when we were picking out wedding gowns--both being 5'0" and such.  Thanks for the tip, I will definitely look into it.  :)
