So I have no problem sorting and washing and folding laundry but oh man do I hate putting it away. I swear unless we have company coming over we always have folded laundry on our couch. I make DH put his clothes away but even he slacks at it. He drives me crazy because if I slack off on chores so does he! I do 3-4 loads of laundry a week and I try to do it all on Sunday but it takes me all week to get it put away.

So how do you guys feel about laundry?

1. See above.
2. We use gain original on our clothes with a gain original dryer sheet. I do one load of bleaches. For Ava Nichol we use All free and clear and oxy clean and recently started throwing a gain dryer sheet in.
3. Usually 4-5 loads a week.
4. Once a week, usually on Sunday.

So how do you guys feel about laundry? Hate it with a fiery passion.

What detergent do you use? Tide HD (or whatever it's called - safe for front loaders). I haven't started washing baby clothes yet, but when I do, I will look into a baby-safe detergent.

How many loads/week? As few as I can possibly get away with. DH does his own, though, and he does it at least once a week. I throw in a couple of shirts/pants in his so I don't have to do it for another few days... lol. I am aware that this will have to stop once baby is here and she's going through 500 outfits a day.

How often do you do laundry? See above.

So how do you guys feel about laundry?  Not my favorite chore. DS likes to help me sort it. And by help I mean run off with something from a pile I just sorted or mix up my sorted clothes. I’m kind of OCD  when it comes to separating clothes. My DH hates it

What detergent do you use? All free for us (I am allergic to scented detergents, esp Tide) and Dreft for DS.

How many loads/week? Depends, but because of my separating habits probably 6 or 7

How often do you do laundry? Typically once a week and I almost always save the towels for last. And I nearly always leave that load in the dryer until we actually need the towels. lol

@ream02 I drive DH crazy because I am so particular. He has learned in the 7 years we have been together that he can't just go in all willy nilly and grab whatever he wants and do a load.

So how do you guys feel about laundry? I hate it.

What detergent do you use? Tide or All Free and Clear, I'm allergic to everything else. I'll switch to a dye/scent free on once I need to for LO, I don't plan on buying detergent just for them.

How many loads/week? 2 every 2 weeks, just for myself - H does his own laundry

How often do you do laundry? Every 2 weeks, towels/linens once a month (we have a TON of towels and 3 sets of sheets)

My SIL and Brother don't have laundry baskets. They just throw whatever is dirty in the washing machine and run it when it gets full. We stayed with them for a week and the process makes me twitchy. :-S Baby clothes with his Navy uniforms with dog towels! It was like a nightmare haha! Much better when their clothes can get clean without me seeing/being involved in the process.

That would make me crazy too!

1. I don't hate it. I semi enjoy it, actually.

2. I use the same detergent we use for our diapers, Country Save.

3. Excluding diapers, I do 4-5 loads per week. I wash diapers EOD.

4. I try to do a couple of loads on Mondays & Tuesdays. Then I'll do a load or two Wednesday or Thursday until they're all done.

1. I don't mind doing it but I HATE putting it away. It'll sit on top of my dryer until we wear it. :-/

2. We use Tide Pods.

3. 7 loads. I do a load every single night. DH drives a truck and goes into peoples houses and with me being allergic to cats I can't have his dirty clothes sitting around the house cause I'll end up sneezing all day!

How many loads/week? 3 loads per week on Thursdays. I'll throw in towels another day when I see I'm running out and bedsheets go in another day when I remember
How often do you do laundry? For clothes, 1 day a week and for the other stuff, it just depends.

This might be a FFC, but I hate hate HATE laundry... So much so that DH and I now each have enough underwear/towels/socks/etc to get through almost 3 weeks without having to do laundry. Then I take a day and just get it over with. I think this is one of the things that will be the hardest for me to change once LO is here ETA: all of DHs work clothes get dry cleaned.

I want to add, so I don't look crazy, that we don't currently have a washer! The dreaded laundry or baby's laundry will get done much more frequently once that is taken care of!

when DH and I got married (we didn't live together before we were married) I decided I was *not* going to be doing his laundry. So we each do our own clothes (thank god) and then one of us will do the sheets/towels. Now with LO here (peeing and pooping on everything) we do a load of his things every day or every other day.

Meh. It isn't the best, it isn't the worst.

My laundry, I don't even do once a week. Like the PP, I own a lot of socks, underwear, work pants, etc. So I do mine about once every two weeks.

Our household laundry (towels/sheets) we also own a few sets, so every two weeks or so.

LO's we have to do really often, maybe 5 times a week.

I'm surprised at how many people do separate laundry from their dh. We throw all our clothes in 1 bin and I feel like it would be silly of me to sort it So he did his own.
Luckily he will wash a load or 2 every now and then for me so we work together.

So how do you guys feel about laundry? If my clothes could magically appear clean. I would be okay with that. I usually don't mind it, but our house is a split-level so whenever a load is finished, I have to walk up two flights of stairs to put it away. Sucks. We need to move.

I combine our clothes and DS' clothes simply to cut down on the number of loads I do.

i have a big problem with putting it away. after LO was born i began folding the laundry in the room it belonged in. i would fold LO's and put it in his dresser as it was folded. i would fold ours and put it on the bed so that we HAD to put it away before going to bed. but we were living in an apt that was all one floor. now that we are in a 3 floor townhome i am back to my old habits and i really need to quit!

we use tide free & clear powder because we CD.

i don't know how often or how many loads. there is no routine. i do LO's diapers every 3-5 days. i take LO's laundry basket down when it is full or if i am throwing in a load of our clothes and there is room for more. i don't do ours too often. most times it isn't done until the weekend and only because DH needs work clothes washed. i re-wear a lot of my clothes since i am gross and don't always leave the house or leave and don't do much. and it seems i have a billion pairs of underwear (it amazes DH). 

i loathe laundry. it was easier when we were all on one floor and i didn't have to carry things up and down steps. the diapers are super easy to put away. i wish the rest of the laundry would just fold itself!

So how do you guys feel about laundry?  I really don't mind doing laundry or putting it away.  The only thing I don't do are DH's socks.  He has to fold them.  I hate matching up his socks.

@carcrashheart I used to put the clothes on the bed but DH heads to bed before me (even if it is by like a minute because I go pee and he makes the bed) and he always just moves the clothes around the room instead of taking two minutes to put it away! Then the clothes never get put away, end up on the floor and get washed again.
