that wasn't so bad

I called to get my records from my RE to take to my new RE (second opinion). They asked what I wanted (just really the lab results and monitoring info) and then she told me there is a cost (which I expected). They just called back to say it'll be $45 and ready for tomorrow! I was really expecting this to cost more and take longer! Now I feel bad for maybe going to another RE, not really but kind of.

Re: that wasn't so bad

  • I'm glad it's not more. But those costs are only supposed to reflect their costs in reproducing your chart and getting it where it needs to go. I'm glad their not trying to yank your chain!

  • Yeah, I don't think there is a limit on how much they can charge here. She did say it depends on how much they have to do.
I think there is a flat fee and then a per page fee.
