Happy Monday!  Did you all have a nice weekend?

We didn't do anything Friday night.  Saturday DH had to work, so I cleaned, did laundry, and went to the BMV for my new plates. My college roommate came down for the night, so we did a few small projects, ran errands and went out to dinner. 

Sunday we went to one of my friends houses so DH could look at a plumbing issue they were having.  Then he ran a couple errands to buy some tools for the remodel.  He started tearing up the floor!  So our bathroom is officially out of order (except for the shower which we obviously need).  We've moved everything into the tiny half bath, which I realized doesn't have an electical outlet.. so I wonder what I will do when drying/straightening my hair?  We went and picked up our vanity!  DH had read online that it was like 250lbs.  It took 4 guys to get the box loaded into the truck.. I wanted to say "So you're coming with us to get it out, right?"  DH was hoping that we would break the box down, take the vanity top off and carry it in two pieces.  No such luck.  As we were out there for probably about an hour, he started to call his sister to see if her boyfriend would come help.  Then a guy pulled up in a utility van, "You need help getting that unloaded?"  He helped DH get it in to the garage.. so nice of him!

That was all the work we did so far.  Our house was a fixer upper when DH purchased it.  We've really done a lot to it.  But, tearing up the floor has brought up the old musty smell that the house used to smell like.. it's gross.  Hopefully this goes quick!

DH and I spent the weekend at summer camp!!! My mom is one of 10 kids, each of whom has kids and grandkids of their own, so for our family reunion this year we rented out a summer camp in NJ. It was a blast! We did archery and canoeing, had a giant softball game, did the climbing wall, and played on inflatable slides and trampolines in the lake. All with three kegs around the campfire at night.

It was awesome to see all my aunts/uncles/cousins that I don't get to see that often, especially with so many fun activities to do throughout the day!

KY the vanity looks so nice! Lcostel I'm a bit envious of your family and its reunion. My family is no where near that awesome. 

Friday I worked then came home and pretty much passed out because the past week was crazy.

Saturday I had off and we went to see The Worlds End. Not the best of the Cornetto Trilogy but I laughed so hard. I think the ending was odd and thats what probably made it more on the ok side then awesome. There was a small (very small) hiccup in the projection (sound kept going tho). That was a bummer for those few minutes but everyone got free movie passes! We had an even worse experience at an iMax showing of Harry Potter years ago ( at a major movie chain). A good portion of the movie was unwatcheble and hurt everyones eyes. All we got was an apology and asked our email in case they reimbursed us. Nothing ever came of it. Terrible customer service. When 90% of the audience thinks it's necessary to line up to complain then you know there is a problem. 

Sunday I worked alone because the other person had car problems. It was ok working alone because it was a slow day with no problems. But it stinks that I had to work alone yet again. I went home and enjoyed being with H.

We had a very lazy weekend. We started watching Game of Thrones for a new show and are enjoying that.

Saturday I slept a lot bc I didn't feel well. Sunday we had a relaxed morning and then I decided to do some baking. I made one of those pinterest cakes, vanilla white cake with blackberry mascarpone filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. It came out almost perfect! And I don't even have a mixer, I'm highly impressed with myself.

Oh, and just for goggles, I've been told that MIL posted this on FB, saying how she especially likes #19

I'm exhausted and it's only Monday! Saturday I caught up on cleaning around the house since everything got put on hold with the craziness of the first week back at work. Sunday I was doing lesson plans all day. I've been going to the chiropractor all summer for my back and was feeling better, but being back on my feet all day is making me worse again It stinks.
