I didn't watch but saw the Buzzfeed lists and clips.  I'm pretty sure that Miley got what she wanted - attention.  Granted she's acting insane lately but I think that's her point and what she's trying to do.

 

Also, I love JT.

The thing that annoys me the most about Miley is that it totally seemed like she was trying too hard. It was as though she wanted that moment to be up there with Madonna humping the stage during Like A Virgin or Britney with the snake. No. Just no.

I thought the whole JT performance was flipping awesome!  I loved it...I was squealing.  I couldn't even watch Robin Thicke (who I love) because of the skank.  I could not stand any part of her performance.  If she was trying to be sexy, she completely went the opposite direction.  Her hair, outfits, performance and TONGUE just screamed WHITE TRASH.  I had the same reaction as the Smith Family.  It was horrible!

I shut it off after JT/NSYNC (because that was the only reason I watched) ((and btw, @SnShne322, I don't think we can be friends anymore)), and I'm kinda glad I did. DH watched it with me and we felt so old because we sat here with our jaws hitting the floor the whole time! First, you had Gaga's bum, then the whole Miley Cyrus thing... and then annoying Kevin Hart. Ugh. I was so glad that JT's thing was in the middle and I didn't have to sit through another hour and a half of that nastiness. The only comment DH could manage to come up with was "no wonder it's on so late".

Sorry, Shell.  I spent most of the 90's listening to STP, Tool, and pretty much any other grunge/rock band.  While I can say that JT is talented, if he never did anything again and he and Nsync disappeared from the world, I can't say that I'd notice.

Well, except for Dick in a Box.  I'd miss that one.

I definitely had a fangirl moment. I didn't watch the VMAs at all just JT's performance on YouTube and I regret nothing. 

Keep your couch, I'm perfectly content to march in the fangirl parade.

A great holiday classic lol. Yea, that's kind of why I hate him. I don't love him as a singer but he's just so damn talented between the dancing, acting in movies and when he's on SNL. Jealous.

I had to watch via livestream since we don't have cable, and they kept switching back and forth between stage cam, audience cam, and various backstage cams. There were some extreme closeups of Lady Gaga's bum in a thong when she (accidentally? on purpose?) stood in front of the audience cam. I mean, she had to know it was there, right? Gross.

And *N SYNC!! SQUEE!! Every time Justin switched to a new song in his medley, I started squealing and jumping around in anticipation thinking that MAYBE it was time for the reunion...I was about to give up hope when they finally came out. I am pretty sure I scared the dogs with my reaction. My husband was at work and didn't have to witness the extent of my fangirling. As soon as it was posted online, I immediately watched the entire performance again and sang/danced along since I wasn't on the edge of my seat anticipating the big reveal.

NSYNC was awesome. Miley.....I...I just don't understand. I can't even figure out what was going on. It was just disgusting all over that stage.
