Divergent vs. Insurgent... NS

So I loved Divergent! I bought Insurgent and didn't read much and for some reason wasn't that into it. I don't think I gave myself enough time at once to get immersed in the story, so my question is, did you love #2 as much as #1? I'm hoping the answer is yes and I can dive back in soon! TIA!

I was a little disappointed with Insurgent.  I still gave it 3 stars, but it definitely wasn't as good as Divergent for me.

I liked both about equally but enjoyed the story in Divergent a little more, not saying the story in Insurgent is not good, it just has a more serious tone for most of the book. I say give it another shot. Sometimes I get in moods for books and if the book doesnt fit in the mood I do not like it, and I have to wait until I am in the mood for that kind of book to fully appreciate it (if that makes sense).

Thanks! I'll give it a go soon. I need to go through and read the books on my Nook that I never read, as well as some I own! Quite a few I own actually that I have never read. oops!

I liked Insurgent, but not as much as Divergent.

I found myself being really confused by Insurgent the first time I read it.  I had a hard time keeping up where they were physically located and who was a friend vs. who was an enemy.  I still liked it but I definitely liked Divergent better.
