Re: S/O Harry Potter Poll *SERIES SPOILERS*

  • Who's your favorite of the main characters? Hermione

Who's your favorite "secondary" character? Is Luna secondary?

What's your favorite scene (or scenes since I know it's difficult to pick one) from the series? oh dear, ummmm, probably in DH when Dudley tells Harry he doesn't think he's a waste (or however it's worded)

Who turned you on to Harry Potter? I randomly picked it up at the library

Why do you love Harry Potter? I love the imagery, the beautiful words, getting lost in the story, and the community

  • I'm listening to Prisoner of Azkaban on Audio and I just the JK Rowling & Dumbledore post so I thought, why not a poll especially since we have so many newbies?

Who's your favorite of the main characters? Hermione...I am so much like her it is scary. (Minus the ability to do magic, sadly.)

Who's your favorite "secondary" character? Too many...toss up between Hagrid, Dobby and Lupin.

What's your favorite scene (or scenes since I know it's difficult to pick one) from the series? So many! Probaby the scene where Fred and George cause a diversion by unleashing mayham on Hogwarts.

Who turned you on to Harry Potter? One of my teachers gave me the book when I was in middle school.

Why do you love Harry Potter? Beyond all the magic, it is a great and empowering coming of age story, as well as a story about having courage and doing what is right, even when it isn't easy. It has also encouraged tons of kids to actually pick up a book for the first time in a long time, something I will always endorse.
