tonight is the first meeting my husband and I are having with our infertility counselor.

I'm excited and really hope Ben responds well to her.  I think he will benifit greatly from having someone to talk to about how the stress has been affecting our daily lives and marriage. he is so angry still about the failed IVF.

I feel OK about everything we've been though but I feel like we need this in order to move forward.

wish us luck! I'll let you know how it goes

    Good luck.  I hope you and Ben find solace with this meeting.

    Not sure if someone else has asked this or not, but is there a chance that he may come around to trying at IVF again?

    After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,
    Clomid/IUI #1 3/14: cancelled due to surprise BFP 3/8/14.
    Beta 1 3/11: 398  Beta 2 3/13: 728  Beta 3 3/20: 11,482 
    Surprise BFP turns into Surprise Twins! 

    Zoey and Garrett born 10/24/14 at 36+3

    Good luck! Just be yourself and totally honest. If you want to cry, cry. If you want to yell, yell. She'd heard it before and sometimes just letting it out can be therapeutic.

    Don't expect advice or to have any major problems fixed on day one, but be open to suggestion.

    he is still currently saying absolutely not, but I feel like given time he may be open to it because he knows how much I want it.  his mom offered to pay for a round of IVF for us, so if he was willing to do it we at least wouldn't have that financial burden to deal with too....assuming Ben was willing to take that gift from his mom. and I don't know about that, he's stubborn.
