Weekend Reading

Re: Weekend Reading

  • Broke my reading slump with Every Breath She Takes, a romance/suspense novel. About 75% of the way through it.
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

  • I got through a big chunk of WMF while on the plane this weekend.
    75 Books in 2015?

    It's slippery as waterweed.
  • I finished The Troop by Nick Cutter, and loved it.  It's an incredibly gory horror read and I highly recommend it to horror fans who don't have weak stomachs.

  • I finished Bared to You, I started and finished a re-read of Anna and the French Kiss, and started (though barely) Shine.
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • I finished Ender's game and started and finished TFIOS. Still slowly going through Life As We Knew It.

  • I finished _Mariana_ by Susanna Kearsly.  Now starting another of hers (_Rose Garden_)
    Daisypath Happy Birthday tickers
    Lilypie - (sGpn)

  • I made a little progress in The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley. It finally started to pick up around the 20% mark.

I also started listening to The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. A bunch of reviewers (or maybe it's just her publishing company) have been buzzing that Shannon is the next JK Rowling. I just take that to mean her book is fantasy,it's meant to be part of a long series, and it's good. So far, it is pretty good, but I'm not blown away. I'm also not that far into it yet so I'll see.

  • I read a mix! Somehow I read about 130 pages of the end of your life book club and I just cannot do it so I quit. I read a little Harry Potter and the goblet of fire, then had my nook with me and sucked back into A Breath of Snow and Ashes while at my IL's so I am hooked on that one now and harry is on the back burner. I savor my outlander very very slowly! I take breaks in the middle of the books, too!
