Holiday Obsession?

I'm excited for Halloween and after that I will get pumped for Christmas.  Though my guilty pleasure is pinning everything Christmas related (gift tags, gift ideas, decorations, etc.) all year long.  My FI thinks I'm crazy...  Anyone else out there feel like they live for the holidays?

I live to avoid holidays. 

It's already stressing me out, and I'm starting to formulate plans to be unavailable for the holidays.

I have already planned what I want to make for Thanksgiving dinner... and I watched a Christmas movie yesturday.... I'm glad I'm not the only one getting excited for holidays way too soon.

I only allow myself to get excited for all things Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. It's so hard to wait but it makes that 1 month leading up to the holiday so much fun. I listen to holiday music every day for that full month! But if I let myself listen before Thanksgiving I think I would get sick of it pretty quick. 

Also, every year I watch the movie White Christmas. Only once though and always in December. It makes it a super special movie night (it was my uncle's/godfather's favorite movie and he passed away about 10 years ago... so when I watch it I think of him!)

I can't wait to start shopping and decorating Christmas. We don't decorate for any other holidays though. Our house is really small and we don't have much storage. So I only allow myself to have Christmas decor right now. But one day...I'll be a holiday decorating fool!

The only thing that excites me about the holidays are the post holiday sales. Half of candy, decor, food, its crazy! I may be rocking last years decorations but they are so cheap I could care less!

I work retail. And while I can *hate* the holidays.... I love ornaments. Seasonal just started getting their stuff out this week. I'm already looking through boxes to see if anything else fits my trees theme.

For me, the holiday season begins in September. I may or may not have already purchased 3 Christmas gifts.
