What's with the dog?:(

The last day or so his breath has been rancid. It almost smels like his anal gland is acting up. That's what kidn of smell it is.
I do not think it is a tooth. I had a look in there; I saw nothing that might be a bad tooch; the bad breath smell comes and goes but mostly it's pretty constant.
He's also been pacing all day and very clingy. He woke me up out of a sound sleep; I let him out to use the facilities --- he came back in.
Right now he's lying down by my chair. If I get up, he'll just folow me again.
I guess I am calling the vet tomorrow. He's got some kind of a problem; like I said, he's eating fine but this horrible rancid breath smell just stays in there and I can't get him to stop pacing.
