I gotta go Julia, we got cows

Because I watched this movie yesterday and it always makes me smile.

Happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday! That is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than a Mon that feels like a Tues.

I hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend.  We didn't do too much.  Turns out I am drastically effected by the medicine the dr game me so I basically slept away Sat. I couldn't keep my eyes open for more than 10 min at time :P  needless to say I was quite boring!

Anything exciting this week?

Re: I gotta go Julia, we got cows

  • Love this movie Aggie! It makes me smile as well.

We had a good weekend. It was good see my grandparents and friend from HS. My mother drove me crazy but that is nothing new. She is crazy! And has to make everyone around her unhappy. I don't know how my dad puts up with her bullshi! Anyhoo we still had a good weekend despite her.

Aggie: Sounds like a great weekend. I pretty much slept all day yesterday.I love lazy weekends!

  • What kind of drugs did you get?

Our weekend was good. Mostly just hung our with my sister.

This week it's back to the grind with daycare girlie. It's good. It helps entertain ds too which is nice.

It's rainy here today so I'm making soup with the broth made last night. It's going to be delicious.
  • Tramadol for my headaches. Except I still had a headache AND I was dizzy/ sleepy beyond belief.

  • I love this movie!!!

We had a nice weekend. Friday we went to DH's schools football game. It was bad, they lost. 46-6. It was seriously awful. I felt so bad for them! They're predicted to win 3 games this year. hah!
Saturday we went to the drive in. It was super fun! They had a triple feature. We saw Monsters University, Despicable Me 2, and Grown Ups 2. It rained a little during the second movie, but stopped before the third started. Other than getting bug bites on my feet which are awful, it was great fun.
Sunday we went to another Crosscutters game. They won, and we got a coupon for free cheezy bread which we got and devoured because it was delish!

Aggie - Boo for migranes and sleeping all day! Did the meds help get rid of it at least?
Degrea - Boo for crazy moms!
Echo - Yay for seeting your sister!

I just finished class and don't have another until 12:30. Booo.

  • Aggie: YUCK!! Never heard of that one before. I hope your head gets better. Migraines are the worst!

JLQ: Sounds like a great weekend. Jealous of the Drive In. We dont have one around us but there is one where I grew up. They are so much fun! I always loved going to Weggies before hand and buying all the bulk candy I wanted.

Echo: Back to the grind indeed!

  • Oh and we also decided on the weekend to possibly sell our house...before the baby arrives. That'll be fun! We're taking time to make a decision about whether to stay in the house we're in and make the big investments needed or see if we can sell as is and get our moola back and find something else. We don't know why we bought this house some days but here we are.
  • Echo: WOW! That is a big decision. Good Luck no matter what you decide.

  • Degrea. Glad you got to enjoy your weekend and to see your grandparents

Echo yay for having your sister in town. :-) and holy moly on the move. You crazy ;-). Good luck with the decision.

Jlq. Sounds like a great weekend. Boo bug bites.

I actually prescribe tramadol a lot to my back dogs. It was kind of funny getting it for me. But it was not worth it for me!

  • Anyone want to come fix my house for me?? And pay for it? Mostly pay for it...dh can do the rest. Then we can stay here happily. We knew there was work involved when we bought it and we weren't exactly planning in getting pregnant right away. But life happens and we have been blessed so we love where were at and who were with and keep trucking and trusting that we are here for a reason.
  • Today I got a free pb&fluff sandwich. On campus, they have a commuter lounge (it's sad) and on Tuesdays they have "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" and from 3:30-4:30 give out free pb&j or pb&f sandwiches to commuters. It's pretty nice!

Echo - Good luck with the house!

Aggie - Tramadol is a good and bad medicine! Good because it works most of the time, but bad because of reasons you said - it often makes people super drowsy and dizzy! I'd be asking for something else. Especially since it didn't get rid of your headache.

  • I have never had a pb&f sandwich. Sounds a little weird, but cool idea.

    And don't worry I already did :-).

You must go buy some fluff and make yourself a sandwich!!! They are delicious. Maybe I'm biased, because I hate jelly, so other than a plane PB, fluff is really my other option for a basic sandwich. I try to to eat a ton of them because fluff is so bad for you, but they are yummy!
    Seriously, look at this yummyness:

I dislike jelly too. Although I will do Apple Butter.

Haha love this movie :)  And this is a great line!

Oh no Aggie - I hope the meds start working soon :)

jlq - are you enjoying your classes?

Echo - good luck with the house, that's a big decision and I hope it works out!

Degrea - glad you had fun with your HS friend

I had to go back to work after five days off.  That sucked.  Plus I'm swamped so I guess the whole "things are going to settle down for a change" thing isn't going to happen.  I hate feeling swamped because I am even less productive because I'm so scatterbrained with everything there is to do so I can't concentrate on one thing long enough to complete it because I'm so stressed about what all I have to do.  No bueno.

In other news, I had ordered this Hunger Games keychain and it came today.  DH is having fun mocking me for my nerdiness but I secretly think he's jealous.

I am enjoying my classes! Well, except for one. It's boring, but necessary.
My A&P class is so full of information! I feel like my brain might explode sometimes, but it's awesome, too! I'm going to 2 supplemental instructions, so it's like having the classes again, just with someone else. They are super helpful and I love that the school offers them! I'm not going to lie, I don't think I'd do well in the courses without them and I must get A's.

Uhm totally LOVE that key chain! Tell your H he just doesn't know what cool is!  I totally want one!
I feel the same way you do when there's a lot going on. It makes it so much harder to concentrate on just one thing! My brain just keeps thinking of everything else that needs done, too.
Do you normally slow down at work around this time of year? Hopefully you do!

So glad to hear it!  I don't think I could go back to school so more power to you!

Normally, things settle way down after Orientation.  Applications are just starting to trickle in and other than traveling, things are generally pretty calm.  It's a nice time to play catch up and get ahead on some projects.

But I've been assigned some major new responsibilities so not only is there more work but a learning curve until I get a handle on everything.  So it's crazy busy with no end in sight
