Blisters on underside of toes

On the 2nd toe of both feet I have blisters  (not on the pad, but the joint where it connects to the foot).  I've been on the elliptical for 60 minutes most days (90 minutes yesterday) and now I'm getting blisters.  Not sure if it's the movement, socks, or shoes.  I can feel it rubbing while on the elliptical.  Ideas on how to combat this?

Re: Blisters on underside of toes

  • bandaids is the only thing I could think of for such an awkward spot. It's probably a combination of rubbing and most of your weight staying on that part of your foot as you move on the elliptical. I never got blistered, but that same spot would get sore on me if I went on for too long.

There's also these liquids you can buy (i forget what theyr'e called, sorry) that act like a bandaid to avoid chafing/rubbing.

Otherwise, change up your routine to give your feet a break :) Good luck!
