As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Colorado Update
So the whole process has taken forever. Paul finally got his official offer letter last week and then he called to negotiate for more money. He finally got the updated offer today. They moved his start date from Oct 28th to Nov 4th which I was hoping they would do. He was able to negotiate for another $1000 annually but it wasn't as much as he was hoping for. He is getting more of a raise than that but he was hoping for even more. They are paying for our move and said he'll make extra with overtime when he's on call once every 4 weeks.
So after he got the offer letter today he was debating about excepting it. While I would be super disappointed if he didn't take it, I would understand. He's worried about not liking the job there since it will be a lot more hours. Heavens he will actually have to work 40 hours a week versus the 20ish he does now. I get that it will be a change for him and it is handy to have him home so much now. We talked about it and weighed the pros and cons. It sounds like he is going to accept it but he said he wanted to sleep on it first, a good idea. Really the only cons are the number of hours he will work and the traffic. Everything else is a pro: more money, free move to Colorado, more training for Paul for his future, the opportunity to move up at work, I can sit for the CPA right away (can't here). Once he accepts the offer we can really start looking for a place, scheduling visits, and call a realtor to get our house on the market. Everything has pretty much been waiting on getting his paperwork finalized.
