How to hide wires?

Our TV (along with Wii and xBox) is located on top of our mantle in our living room. Unfortunately, this means that a bunch of unsightly wires hang down the left side of the mantle (which juts out from the wall a little) and down to the wall. I would LOVE to be able to make this less obvious.. does anyone have any suggestions? I've started by tying all of the wires together to keep them a little more organized, but I would love to make them stand out even less. I was even thinking of buying some sort of tall fake plant to go there (no sunlight in that corner).

There are tons of kits available at hardware stores that can help hide cables. In addition to that, you could also build something customizable with a few pieces of wood, and build it out on the side of your fireplace to make it look as thought it was intentional.

You can also place plastic flowers over there. So that they will hide your wires.
