Hey Ladies!  Sorry I haven't been around much all last week.  I was on a good amount of pain meds most of the week, so dosing in and out all throughout the day.  I'm really happy I was able to stay home all last week and basically stay in bed 24/7 because I think that helped me heal quicker.  From what I've read, most people don't get their surgical tape covering the incisions removed for two weeks.  I was able to get them removed after a week.  All my incisions are closed and look better each day.  I'm still in some pain, mainly around the incisions.  They itch and sting a lot and it get's really annoying because there's nothing I can do to make it better.  My chest is still very tender to the touch and sensitive to any rough movements, like going over speed bumps while driving.  I'm dying to get back to my normal life and be more active, but it's going to be at least another month before I can start working out again or lifting things up.

Anyway, here are the pictures.  The swimsuit one isn't the best before, but you can see how much cleavage I had (which is what it looked like even when I wasn't bent over).  Sorry my face is blacked out in one of them; I posted these pictures on a medical webpage about breast reduction and wanted to remain anonymous.

    Anniversary

  • Thanks everyone!  It's a very weird experience to go through so far.  Some days I feel like they are still too big and some days I feel like I have nothing left.  It's more of a mind game at this point.

I'm still healing ok.  After last nights shower, I noticed some spots that were still a little fresh and put a bandage back on those areas with Neosporin.  I'm extremely tired this morning after my first day back at work yesterday.  I'd really love to be sleeping right now!
