NBR - Travel

Re: NBR - Travel

  • I've been to 42 states and New York (Niagara Falls and NYC) and California (San Diego, San Fran, Yosemite and Sequoia National Park) are my favorites.
  • My goal in life is to visit all 50 states! I think I am at about 31? I'm missing big chunks in the north western states (Montana, Idaho, Wyoming), and the Atlantic coastal region (other than NE).

I think my favorite place to visit is New England.  Probably just because it's so different from my desert climate, but I adore the small towns and green and ocean and just everything.

  • I haven't traveled all that much, but I love living in Southern California. There's always something to do or somewhere to go or the ocean to stare at.

  • I've loved so many places that I've visited, but one that I return to again and again is Utah. Southern Utah is gorgeous. Hiking the canyons and the wading through the peaceful river in Zion - that's my happy place. Fairly close to that is Cedar City where they put on a Shakespeare festival every summer and have a cool little coffee shop/ indie bookstore and the best gift shop ever.

  • @InLovewSB I live on the Florida Gulf Coast and it makes me so happy that you love it there too :x

  • Utah, strangely. When I moved from New York to California, I was most taken by the incredible scenery there -- the huge rocks and canyons and mountains, wild bison on an island in Great Salt Lake. I'd never seen anything like it. I can't wait to go back.
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.
