weightloss question/ garcinia cambogia??

I saw some videos about garcinia cambogia from the Dr. Oz show. I'm considering purchasing this supplement and trying it. I'd like to lose 20 lbs-ish. Has anyone tried it/ is there something else you've tried that helped you lose weight? I just came off the birth control pill and I've gained some weight instead of losing, like I was hoping. I want to do something. I have time to exercise at home like with on demand yoga type workouts and I do some other things like crunches, squats, pinterest workouts... But I don't have an exercise machine right now and can't afford one and even with eating lots of more veggies and less sugary dessert type foods, my stomach and thighs are growing... I don't like fad diets, but I thought maybe this one's different because it's just from a fruit and has potassium and that's it.  Thanks for all suggestions!

Re: weightloss question/ garcinia cambogia??

  • I don't know much about this, but I don't believe in any sort of diet/weight loss supplement. It will never do what eating healthy and working out does. And most can cause serious health issues. Not only that, but there are almost always shady knock offs that don't have the same ingredients or the same levels of ingredients, don't provide the same results as advertised, and are usually more dangerous than the original product itself.

I'd just be careful and don't look for an easy way out.
  • thanks... was looking for an easy way i guess. you're right. i feel the same way. i know theyre pretty much terrible for you. ugh. it's too bad though! time to start saving for an exercise machine. or finding a place to run. we just moved to a new area and im still learning what's around. i can't really run around my house because it's not terribly safe to run on the roads, but there has to be some kind of park around.

  • BTW I hope that didn't sound snotty!! I'm just always so scared of different 'supplements'...

I really like doing Jillian Michaels videos.. they helped me ease into a real workout routine, and all you need are a mat and some dumbbells :) I started off with 30 Day Shred as it had the most basic routines, and I've worked up from there.

Yeah it is right weight loss supplements and diet pills are useless and have severe reaction for the health.
Avoid all kinds of such weight loss supplements and diet pills and do exercising or dieting for the natural weight control.
