It's exciting!  You're not dorky!   It's hard to send your child somewhere that you don't know much about.  (Esp when for the last 5 years you've controlled just about everything that they've done.)  Our first PTA meeting this week was also "meet the staff" night, and I love that one most of all.  I get to see where spends almost all day 5 days a week, and who he spends that time with.

Not dorky at all!!  I loved our parent orientation night, and I'm already excited for the first parent-teacher conference!
