Has anyone every been to New Orleans?  We are going on a weekend trip there and leaving tomorrow morning.  We'll stay at a bed and breakfast in a room with a balcony that overlooks Bourbon St.  I'm excited and can't wait to experience that city, but I am so not looking forward to the drive there and back.  It's about 7.5 hours away!  I hope it's worth it

I really want to go to NOLA.  My parents have gone there several times and loved it.  I can't wait to hear about the trip when you get back.

I'm sure it will be worth it, I've never been, but fall seems like a great time to be there! Do you like audiobooks? H and I usually listen to comedy audiobooks on long road trips (my hometown is a 11 hour drive each way ). Bossypants by Tina Fey is really funny.

My sister loved NOLA when she went.  I hope to go there at some point in my life.  Have fun, and let us know how you liked it.  Also, pictures... I know I'm always bugging people for pictures, but that's because I love them!!!

@WillyH19 - I'll have to see if we can download that audio book.  H is downloading some movies and TV shows for me, but it would be fun to get something everyone in the car can enjoy since we are carpooling with my parents.

@Seipel12 - I'll definitely post pictures!  I'm excited to get some pictures with my new "girls"! Haha!

Hi!  We live in Louisiana now.  Don't leave NOLA without trying the beignets at Cafe du Monde!  And if you're a coffee fan, get the cafe au lait and dunk away   Hope you have a great trip!
