T&P Request (not for me)
My inlaws are in Seaside at their shore house working on repairs for the last two weeks on vacation. Today they took a break and decided to walk up to the boardwalk, luckily they were walking back before the fire started. But it's insane. I'm so sad for all these businesses that barely were able to rebuild after Sandy. Now they are destroyed yet again. DH and I took our engagement photos on this boardwalk. Our picture spots were washed away by Sandy and now we have watched them burn to the sand on live videos.
If you can spare some thoughts for the businesses and people effected, please do.

Some firefighters had to be treated for smoke inhalation, I see. The articles don't say otherwise- was anyone injured? I hope everyone was able to make it out.

I was in tears watching the footage last night. I've spent countless summers in Seaside, my heart is breaking for the community.
