The community theater in my hometown is performing The Rocky Horror Picture Show this weekend, so I'm driving out to see the show and spend some time with my mom. I love Rocky Horror to begin with, but it'll be particularly fun to see people I've known since grade school strutting around on stage in corsets and high heels!

So I'm going to sound crazy, but every year on September 15th, I :

--get my first pumpkin spice latte of the year

--go to the Halloween store and check out the new stuff 

--put up my Halloween decorations

Halloween is my favorite holiday so I have extended it a bit into September, lol!  I set the 15th as the date to keep it from getting too out of control too early.

And now you know the story of why I was an October bride...

This week has been really tame.  I mostly laid around, I'm stil having some pain from the kidney biopsy.  Hopefully not for much longer. 

This weekend DH has a softball tournament.  I plan on going it all depends on how I feel.  I'm so over feeling like a sick person!  Also hoping to get some cleaning done around the house.  I'm just so exhausted all the time.

I'm really happy to be home from Boston. I plan on spending the weekend catching up on stuff at home, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping. We are having dinner with my cousin on Saturday evening. Church on Sunday.

I am taking Monday and Tuesday off work and plan to park by behind on the couch and cuddle with my pup for two days

H is gigging tonight and tomorrow, so that means a lot of free time!  I'll probably go with him tonight, but opt out of tomorrow.  There's laundry to be done and a nursery to be painted.

Oh. And sleep.

I had a good week.  I am a research assistant the university where I am a grad student and this week we FINALLY started writing the book that I started researching for in January.  I'm excited to finally get the ball rolling

Tonight H and I are going to the Cubs/Pirates game (go Cubbies!!) and I have plans tomorrow and Sunday with friends so it will be a full, fun weekend

This week was crazy busy at work. School opened on Mon and all the kids who want schedule changes bombard us all day and all week. Not fun!!

This weekend we have nothing planned. I just want to take one really long nap!!

Last night we went to dinner with H's parents. The exhaustion from the week hit me and I could barely walk to to the car after dinner, so I was knocked out before 9:30!! Today I'm going to try going back to my cardio dance class! It's been a long time. We'll see how my knee does. We'll go to lunch with MIL and SIL, then I'm going to the dog park with one of my former co-workers. H and I will spend the rest of the afternoon working on packing. One of my friends is coming over for dinner and wine tonight. Tomorrow holds more packing and probably a trip to school to do some work in my classroom.

I don't have an exciting weekend planned.  H had to work today because Monday is a tax extension deadline day.

With all the new programs we have at work, I actually have to plan.  It's kind of hard to plan because the teacher's editions for our reading series is on back order and the website that has the online teacher's editions wasn't correctly activated so I can't view them.  I'm pretty stressed out about work which I haven't been in many years <sigh>
