Friday, the 13th

I'm bored in the car on the way to NOLA so I'm posting. 

Since it's Friday the 13th, are you superstitions? Are there only certain superstitions you believe in or think are ridiculous?

Until very recently (last two or three years?) I would still hold my breath when passing by a cemetery. I have no idea why that superstitious stuck.

As for others, not so much. One of our furbabies is a little black cat.

I am not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.  (The Office, anyone??)

I'm not superstitious, but I act like I am?  I KNOW opening an umbrella in doors won't give me bad luck, but I still feel uneasy if someone does.  I avoid doing it, lol

I kiss my hand and then touch the ceiling of my car whenever I drive under a yellow light. It's supposed to give you good luck. I can't really think of anything else I do that's superstitious.

I'm really weird about the #13.  I won't let my car radio or tv play at volume 13.  I also don't like to play big events on the 13th of any month.  Like @aro1589 said, I don't really think it brings bad luck, it just makes me uneasy.

I don't like 13 because it's an odd number, not because it's bad luck.

I am not exactly superstitious either but I don't walk under ladders or open umbrellas inside.

I'm not, but I think they're interesting to hear about. The only thing I do is hold my breath/close my eyes when going through a tunnel.

I'm not superstitious at all.  I leave my umbrella open all the time inside.  I've never broken a mirror, but I doubt that would bother me.  I don't walk under ladders but that's because I'm a klutz and would probably hurt myself.  Black cats are cute and sometimes friendly. 

Obviously the number 13 doesn't bother me since we got married 10/13

I didn't realize that yesterday was Friday the 13th until I complained to someone that I dropped my work closet lock on my toe and cut my toe, then scraped and skinned my thumb under the sink in my classroom.  They said I must be having Friday the 13th bad luck.  It clicked then.
