Desert Island Top Five Books

Re: Desert Island Top Five Books

  • 1.  Tough call for the series between Outlander and HP.... But Outlander wins due to length.  :)

    2.  Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami (Birnbaum's translation)

    3.  Name of the Wind

    4.  Bruiser by Neal Shusterman

    5.  A Cook's Tour by Anthony Bourdain
    Daisypath Happy Birthday tickers
    Lilypie - (sGpn)

  • I was thinking about this on the way into work this morning (don't ask).  I think I would actually choose HP over Outlander.  HP is finished whereas there's no end in sight for Outlander right now.  With the way that Echo ended, I can't imagine dealing with literary blue balls every.single.time I reread it.  Maybe that will change once it's completed.  But then again, since my imaginary island has electricity and wifi, it will probably have FedEx too.

    My favorite Cake Wreck ever.

  • 1. HP Series
    2. IT
    3. Clash of Kings
    4. Shadowfever
    5. Return of the King, I would argue the whole series since Tolkien intended it to be one large book.
