Weird Symptoms After Stopping Nuva Ring! Anyone else?

I took my NR out 2 weeks ago, had my period and then just didn't put a new one in. I had been on Nuva Ring since 2007! I suffer from anxiety and being a hypochondriac as well as having a very low sex drive. I really just want to "clean out" my system of any foreign things. I have been having stomach cramping (no bleeding), major headaches, mood swings, etc. However my sex drive is already up! Anyone else experiencing this? these daily headaches are really freaking me out!

Did you consult your gynecologist before discontinuing BC? You should probably make an appointment with him/her and discuss your symptoms.

Never been on the ring but with any hormonal BC you symptoms are related to hormone changes your body has been used to a regular supply of certain hormones for quite sometime and now you have taken them away and you body has to balance itself back out. It wouldnt be unusual for you to get another period or some spotting before your next period is due for the next couple of months. If symptoms are unberable you may need to consult your GYN to do some low dose BCP and then stop. One leading cause of migraines in woman is related to hormone balances so I wouldn't be to concerned at this point

OK, so it's been a week since your original post... any updates? feeling any better?  I currently have my nuva ring out (due to go back in on Wednesday 9/25) but I'm thinking about just leaving it out for good... Just wondering how long it takes to get back to "normal" after...
