How did everyone's weekend turn out? How's your Monday going so far?

I'm just piddling around our place. Slowly, ever so slowly, cleaning up.

Saturday was the perfect day spent with H. We really didn't do anything noteworthy, it was just so nice. Sunday I worked a very long day. It was an interesting day. Security had to be called while I was in a room. Makes me greatful that H and I both have the same last name. There will be no confusion on what babies last name will be, if we ever have one.

And my MOH got engaged over the weekend! We both were taken by surprise and I am so excited for her! Plus I'm excited myself.

I had a kind of laid-back weekend until Sunday, when I hosted an open house myself. Kind of annoying that I did a lot of work for three people to walk through. This house-selling business is terrible. All day long I see stories about how houses are going so quickly off the market, and yet ours has been for sale for almost 3 months now and nothing. I think we need a new realtor.

This week is going to be crazy. I am dreading it.

@sdose13 .. sorry the open house didn't go as well as you hoped!  Hopefully you'll get something soon!

We, as usual, worked on the bathroom.  That's the extent of my life right now.  Oh, and DH gave me my first shot.  That's about it!

@sdose13 that's depressing about the open house. I have a feeling it may be the realtor too.

Lol not my mom, maid of honor, I'm guessing it was a auto correct. It would be nice if my mum did remarry tho.

@sdose13 I feel you on the open house. We've had DHs house on the market for over 3 months with no traffic. We've lowered the price 3 times. We also had it listed for a year before this. Whoever is selling all these houses, I'd like to meet them

I'm really surprised by the houses not selling. Could it be the area y'all are in? In Austin and Houston (Texas) houses sell pretty quick. I wish you both the best of luck on getting them sold!

We live in Des Moines and the housing market is doing great. My realtor is blaming it on us living on a busy street but there are two houses just down from us that were on the market for less than a month. It's eye-rolling, really.

Oh goodness! That's terrible! I don't think I would keep your realtor.

Oh wow @sdose13!  I wouldn't keep that realtor either!  My MIL works in a realtor's office here in Indy, and she said they can't keep enough homes on the market.  Homes are selling as soon as they get listed.  I think I would search for another realtor.  Good luck!!

@ky29 - it's my MIL, and she works for Keller Williams.  She's the assistant for Janice Kernel and Sheri Howard.  It's at Fry and 135.
