"Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!"

Hello friends! Wow I feel like a slacker around these parts.  Work has been hectic and this place is so slow its hard to post frequently!

Nothing too exciting here except I am thanking God my sister moved to Detroit this summer.  My BIL worked at the Navy Yard when they were here :(

I feel like I had so many things to tell you ladies when I was to busy to post and now all I can think of is "uhhh my life is boring"  but I am ok with that :P

Happy Tues!

  • Hi Aggie! I feel the same way about my sister. So glad she moved to CT! You are right this place is slow. Us May 2011ers are a dying breed.

I have all day meetings today pretty much. So yet another day where I accomplish nothing. At least I am getting use to it. O and I have a pedi tonight and than dinner with H! I am looking forward to that.

  • It is becoming quit slow around here. I miss the good ol' days sometimes but I am so glad to not be planning a wedding lol.

It's chilly here and I debate turning on the furnace but I'm cheap so I won't. Layers will keep us warm. I also made yummy chicken soup yesterday so that helps. It's also supposed to warm up a bit later this week so not furnace necessary.
  • Also dh has fears he is in this movie. It's funny.
  • Lol I did for a while echo. It's just such an odd concept you think maybe it could be real? Dun dun dun.

Then I think my life is boring so why would they follow me?

Degree enjoy your pedi! (and good luck with the meetings)

    Echo stay warm!

Also I have a friend who is not one to keep anything to herself. Including ANYTHING about her pregnancy and as of today it appears she has to do play by plays for her labor as well. I tolerated her through pregnancy hoping once baby comes it wont be quite so incessant. If it's not she will be hidden from my feed! And I like a lot of that stuff but holy over share friend!

  • Play by play for labour is ridiculous! I try to keep my pregnancy posts minimal. I have an acquaintance who posted when she was in being induced. She didn't provide many details thank goodness! I just don't get why! Go be in labour for Pete's sake! I definitely texted and messaged while I labour but I didn't announce to the world how dilated I was.
  • Yuck Aggie! Put the phone down and take time to appreciate what is going on. I think cell phones and great but sometime I miss the good ole days! When someone wanted to get a hold of me they left a message on my answering machine. Remember answering machines. You to flip over the tape when it ran out, LOL!

  • Oh answering machines!! Seriously!

I hate how technological everything is. You can't control what others say either. When's was born dh's uncle and brother had both posted in fb about him before we did. Ds was born at 1:55am. We were going to post later that day after waking up and relaxing. Instead I had to sign into my account from my sisters phone to make the official announcement. It just made me angry to have someone take away that moment from us.
  • Hello.
I found out today that my dad died. They think on Saturday. He lived alone so no one knows what happened. We weren't close, but it still sucks. So I'll be going back home again Thursday morning. (They're doing an autopsy, so the funeral stuff won't be until Friday probably)

This board is dying a very slow death and I don't like it. I miss all you ladies!
