This is my life...
I'm finishing up for the day at work, and a huge truck pulls up.
He's delivering a drive-thru window.
To the corporate office.
Office. Not Store.
At first, I was like, 'wherever will we store that until we can get it to the store that ordered it?'
Then my brain said 'ha maybe it's for me!'
My brain giggled at the thought of Drive-Thru Payroll, but then I thought maybe it would be a good thing.. encourage people to give me whatever they were there to give me, and then head on out.
I mean, banks have Drive-Thrus.. why not me?
Then I realized I probably just spent the last 3 or 4 minutes thinking about what it would be like to have a drive-thru window in my office, and I'm not sure if that means I've worked too hard today, or if I'm just slowly losing my mind.
I'm going to try to actually leave now. But most likely, I'll be contemplating other jobs that could benefit from a drive-thru window.
I think I just answered my own question.
Also- Brew-Thru? Best invention ever.

I wish CT would have that. We're too square. I mean, just recently, a law was passed so liquor (package) stores can legally choose to stay open until 9pm!
And even more recently, they can sell on Sundays, too! We're getting there!!

Brew-Thru's are huge in The Outer Banks, NC. Not sure about the rest of NC though. I actually walked through one and had to ask the guy what proper procedure was because I always drove through them. He explained it to me like I was a mental patient. I just wanted to make sure I didnt get thrown out without my beer! I just kept imagining the sufer dude being like, "No beer for you! End of the Line!" It was a really long trip with 2 tweens in the car, I was not taking that chance.
