girls night out restaurant suggestions
I'm going out with a friend on Friday night, she lives in Mt. Lebo so we're trying to find somewhere kind of in the middle....thinking either Southside, Station Square or downtown. I rarely go out to dinner to somewhere that's not kid-friendly, is there anywhere new & fun to go in those areas? Nothing too pricey, or weird food due to my pickiness
Re: girls night out restaurant suggestions
You could do Nola downtown, and then go to the champagne/wine bar above it.
Yikes, did not realize that...thanks!

For South Side there is Dish, Cafe Du Jour, Ibiza, Double Wide Grill. I'm sure there are more, but it's been a while since I've been there for dinner. You also have the restaurants in South Side Works (Cheesecake Factory, Hofbrauhaus, The Claddagh, McCormick & Schmicks, The Wine Loft).
Tamari is one of my favorite spots for drinks and food.
My other favorite in Lawrenceville is Piccolo Forno. I love the fact that it's BYOB. If there's a wait, I'll go to another place in teh area for a drink or two, then drink my wine once I have a table
What about La Tavola on Mt. Washington - it's about a block or two in from the "main drag". It's also BYOB - owners are from Italy, but met in Little Italy, NYC. Great food.
