Are you the one that is in to haunted houses at Halloween?  (I think I remember it being you...if not, sorry!)  Anyway, Noah REALLY wants to go to one this year so I'm trying to find one that is only semi-scary.  He's past Hallo-Boo and the Zoo Boo, but I don't know if he's ready for The Scare House either.  He's only 8, so I don't want him to be so scared that he wants to sleep in my bed - just a little bit scared! HA!  Do you have any recs?

Hahaha. Yep, that's me (and Heather and Sami, too!). 

Last year Castle Blood, where Heather works, did a kid-friendly daytime tour and it was awesome. They gave the kids a little mission to perform, they had to collect a totem from each actor in each room and then turn it in for a prize at the end. It's still spooky, there's still a story, but no one is jumping out and screaming in their faces (they don't do that at Castle Blood anyway, but you know what I mean). I think it would be great for an 8 year old.

I think Scarehouse or Hundred Acres Manor would probably terrify him.

Thanks so much!  I think the castle blood matinee is the perfect solution.  He says he won't be scared, but I know he will be!
