how do y'all chat online and keep up with life?!?!  I've been swamped at work and haven't even glanced at this board in a week.  I know I'm new, but I really like being able to chat when I can but it seems like that's next to impossible lately.

I do a lot of database work and check this board while I am waiting for information to update, since that can take up to 20 mins. Also I out-work myself a lot so I have a lot of free time at work to check this.

I check in a few times a day.  I'm not constantly monitoring or anything.  Usually during morning lulls, lunch, and before I go home.  I'll check from home if there's something going on that's super interesting.

I always miss the drama though.  I hate logging in and seeing that the board has blown up over something that I completely missed, but the original post was deleted so I have to piece together what got everyone's panties in a bunch.

Work is pretty quiet these days and even when it's not, sometimes you just need a 5 minute break

I have a pretty boring job about 8 months out of the year, so this helps make the day go by faster. My most active days are Monday and Friday, when my boss works from home.

I have two screens, and keep Chrome open (minimized) on one most of the time. Depending on how busy I am, I'll check every once in awhile. Sometimes that means I'm refreshing every 15 minutes, and sometimes that means I pop in only once a day. If I'm stuck in meetings, I check less.

My job is pretty chill.  My boss has said that she doesn't care what we do as long as our work gets done.  I don't sit staring at the board all day but I check in periodically when I have time.

When I was working my job had a lot of downtime. Now I mostly check in while bfing.

As long as my work is done I check throughout the day. Even if it's not completely done sometimes you just need a breather. I usually keep a tab open to go back and forth to during the day of FB and here or my email.

I post a lot from my phone. That's exactly what I'm doing right now. It also helps that I've been a SAHW for the last seven months.

I am on maternity leave now so whenever I am nursing my little one. Checking on my phone makes it so much easier. When I get back to work, I imagine when I am pumping I will check.

I work nights, so my morning is around lunch time, so I check while drinking my coffee then again a time or two before I get ready for work. (dinner time.)

I am a SAHM. During the summer, it's hard to find the time. Now that the kids are in school, there are bigger chunks of time where I can pop in. I used to be on here all day every day. Ahh, those were the days.

This is me too. It ebbs and flows how often I can post but I check the Nest usually daily because these ladies are awesome.
